Children Islamic Centre (CIC) is a chain of children educational enrichment centers offering pre-school and supplemental primary education services. CIC’s first center was established in Puchong Utama in 1997, using the old name of Tadika PIKK. Puan Hajjah Qutren, the Founder and Managing Director initially started the center to ensure that she was involved with the early education of her own children. After running the center for a few years, she realized that there were huge demands for the kind of services they offered, namely a quality and systematic Islamic education for children to complement the mainstream education that children are normally exposed to. 

The CIC franchise aims to provide a comprehensive Islamic and mainstream education to children from 2 years old to 12 year olds, with special emphasis on the children’s proficiency of English. Having more than 10 years of experience in the operation of children educational enrichment centers, CIC franchise is well-placed to cater to the demands of parents, who now want a holistic approach to their children’s early education. CIC also adopts a motivational teaching approach whereby the children are assessed on their progress on a regular basis. Teaching methods and study contents are also tailored to the intellectual capacity and learning pace of the children.  

CIC realizes and recognizes that parents may have their own preferences regarding their children’s education. CIC offers 12 programs in total at their centers covering all age group up to 12 year olds. In addition to Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics, Science and religious subjects, students are given the opportunity to be involved in non-academic activities such as art and craft, music, drama, storytelling and swimming. The children also participate in sports day, school trips and family days. The programs are designed to mould the students into well-rounded individuals and prepare them physically, mentally and spiritually so that they continue to excel once they graduate from the center.
